Aux murs is an ongoing site-responsive research project that approaches architectural surfaces as living archives. Beginning with the question What would walls say if they could speak?, it gathers material traces, gestures and fragments embedded within the spaces we inhabit.
Working through photography, moving image, surface scans, collective writing and printmaking, each iteration responds to a different context while remaining connected to an expanding body of work developed across places, publications and collaborations.
Rather than reconstructing histories, Aux murs stays with what resists completion. Walls become porous surfaces where past and present coexist, allowing new narratives to emerge through observation, speculation and collective imagination.
