Terrarium is a series of six screen prints reflecting on care and human relationships through the metaphor of the terrarium.
The images combine botanical illustrations with excerpts from a 1970s gardening manual describing how to build and maintain a self-contained ecosystem. Removed from their original context, these practical instructions suggest new parallels between caring for plants and sustaining relationships over time.
Produced through layered screen-printing, the series uses repetition and variation to connect botanical imagery with everyday gestures of care, attention and maintenance.
